Denny DeGroote has been helping credit unions with strategic planning and financial analysis consulting for over twenty years. DeGroote started with the Iowa Credit Union League in 1985, working with credit unions until 1995 when he began managing the Atlas Financial Management consulting business unit for The Members Group (TMG). He continues to work with credit unions, only in a more specialized capacity, that of Asset Liability Management (ALM) consulting. Prior to the League and TMG, DeGroote worked in the banking industry for 10 years. He has a bachelors degree from Iowa State University and is a Development Educator for the credit union movement, having worked in Kenya and Ghana, Africa providing training and education for strategic planning.
